Support for when everything feels mentally and emotionally heavy
Sometimes overwhelm builds slowly in the background until even small tasks start to feel difficult to face. Other times it arrives all at once through burnout, stress, hormonal changes, neurodivergence, life transitions, illness, workload, emotional exhaustion, or simply trying to carry too much for too long. When everything feels foggy, emotionally heavy, or impossible to untangle alone, it can be hard to know where to start, or even how to explain what’s wrong.
Sometimes people already know they’re overwhelmed. Sometimes they’ve been coping for so long that they need someone else to gently help them recognise that things have become too much.
Support can include things like:
gentle structure and accountability
collaborative working and body doubling
reducing mental clutter and untangling priorities
practical support during overwhelming periods
breaking things into smaller, more manageable steps
support navigating work, study, or everyday responsibilities
having another calm person alongside you while things feel difficult
Support is flexible and shaped around what feels most helpful for you at the time.
Many people are so used to carrying everything alone that they don’t always realise how much lighter things can feel when some of the weight is shared.
This support may help if:
everything feels mentally “too much”
you feel foggy, overwhelmed, or stuck
small tasks are starting to feel impossible
you’ve been masking or pushing through for a long time
you feel ashamed for struggling with things that seem “easy” for other people
you don’t know where to begin anymore
A calm, non-judgemental space
Sometimes people need practical help. Sometimes they need calm structure. Sometimes they simply need space to acknowledge that things feel heavy without feeling judged for it.
Sessions are flexible, collaborative, and adapted around you as an individual without pressure to mask, explain yourself perfectly, or “keep up”.
This support is practical, collaborative, and grounded in everyday functioning and overwhelm support. It is not a crisis or therapeutic mental health service.
