Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming in itself
I try to keep the process simple, flexible, and low-pressure so you always feel comfortable and in control.
You do not need to have everything figured out before getting in touch.
If you’re not quite ready for a call, that’s completely okay. You’re very welcome to contact me by email, text, WhatsApp message, or voice note first if you’d prefer to ask questions, get a feel for things, or work out whether the support feels right for you. (Contact details here).
There’s no pressure to commit to anything before you feel ready.
When you feel comfortable to do so, we can arrange a free introductory call. This is simply a chance for us to chat through what’s feeling difficult at the moment, what kind of support might feel most helpful, and whether the support feels like a good fit for you.
There’s absolutely no pressure to make decisions during the call or commit to support on the spot.
I know these kinds of calls can sometimes feel awkward or anxiety-inducing, so there’s no expectation to have the “right words” prepared. Calls are always camera-optional, and you’re welcome to join in whatever way feels most comfortable for you. After the call, I’ll send a short follow-up email summarising what was discussed so you have everything in writing and don’t need to try and remember it all afterwards.
You do not need to decide anything immediately after the call. You’re welcome to take some time to think about whether the support feels right for you, and whether the timing feels manageable. You’re also very welcome to come back with additional questions afterwards if anything feels unclear.
If you decide to go ahead, we’ll organise the practical details and arrange support in a way that works for both of us. I use an online booking system, which means you’ll always be able to view my availability and book sessions easily.
Support can be ongoing or more flexible depending on what you need at the time.
Sessions take place online via Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. Support is collaborative, flexible, and adapted around what feels most helpful and manageable for you.
Sessions can be:
quiet or collaborative
structured or flexible
camera-on or camera-off
focused working sessions or more supportive planning sessions
You’re welcome to move around, fidget, pause, think out loud, or take extra processing time during sessions. There’s no expectation to mask, explain yourself perfectly, or have everything organised beforehand.
Support sessions take place during weekday working hours, with limited Saturday morning availability. I do not currently offer evening sessions, bank holiday availability, or out-of-hours support.
